When I paint, I feel the music of the artwork — and now I can give each piece its own voice and its own music. All lyrics, the voice, and the music are original works created by me, shaped from the same emotional source that created the painting.

Arise
Inner Vision Expression
Style: Introspective
Mixed media on canvas
Original size: 54″ W × 54″ H
Arise carries the feeling of a presence emerging into light. From the deeper colors below, luminous forms seem to lift and open through the center of the painting. There is something almost ethereal in their movement—a suggestion of ascent, protection, or a presence taking form without ever fully revealing itself.
Violet and purple move throughout the painting, from deep plum and blue-violet to lavender and soft lilac. Indigo and rich blue give depth to the lower passages, while pale blue, blush pink, cream, and luminous white gather through the center. The light seems to come from within these layers, gradually becoming stronger as the forms rise.
Look longer and the lighter movements can begin to suggest something beyond color alone. Broad forms seem to open around a central presence, while smaller shapes appear and disappear within them. Nothing becomes defined enough to tell the viewer what must be seen, yet the sensation of something lifting, opening, and becoming present remains.
Arise exists in that beautiful space between the visible and the unseen. Something is rising through the painting, but what has arisen is left for each viewer to discover.
As an Inner Vision Expression, Arise embodies the Introspective style of Bereniche Aguiar—where reflection unfolds through gentle movement & color.
