When I paint, I feel the music of the artwork — and now I can give each piece its own voice and its own music. All lyrics, the voice, and the music are original works created by me, shaped from the same emotional source that created the painting.

Spanish Dancer
Random Vision Expression
Style: Randomistic
Mixed media on canvas
Original size: 36″ W × 24″ H
Spanish Dancer bursts with the feeling of joy in motion. Color seems to propel itself across the painting, twisting, opening, and trailing behind as though something exuberant has suddenly swept through the water. There is no heaviness here. The painting feels playful, free, almost celebratory—movement enjoyed simply for the pleasure of moving.
A brilliant field of yellow and yellow-green illuminates the composition, meeting vivid fuchsia, hot pink, scarlet, and orange-red at its energetic center. Areas of green, deep violet, purple, amber, cream, and soft white surround and interrupt these intense colors. Some pigments flow into translucent pools while others gather into irregular edges, droplets, and delicate branching traces, giving the surface the sensation of color being carried and dispersed through liquid.
The title Spanish Dancer beautifully matches the rhythm within the painting. Like the Spanish dancer sea creature moving through water, the central color appears to flare outward, curl, and stream behind itself, creating an impression of fabric or fins unfurling during a dance. Yet the forms remain open enough that the viewer can discover something entirely different within them.
What makes the painting especially joyful is the apparent freedom of its movement. Nothing seems contained. The luminous yellow expands, the brilliant fuchsia surges across it, and smaller forms seem to appear spontaneously around them. It feels like a dance occurring underwater—buoyant, colorful, unexpected, and completely alive.
As a Random Vision Expression, Spanish Dancer embodies the Randomistic style of Bereniche Aguiar—where unexpected forms and relationships emerge through color, fluidity & chance.
