When I paint, I feel the music of the artwork — and now I can give each piece its own voice and its own music. All lyrics, the voice, and the music are original works created by me, shaped from the same emotional source that created the painting.

The Journey
Random Vision Expression
Style: Organistic
Mixed media on canvas
Original size: 48″ W × 48″ H
The Journey moves through a path that refuses to be straight. Powerful red forms curve through darkness, turning inward, opening outward, disappearing and beginning again. There is no prescribed route. The eye follows the movement without knowing where the next turn will lead.
Intense scarlet and crimson move against deep navy, indigo, blue-violet, burgundy, and near-black. Small flashes of violet and magenta appear within the darker passages. Against this depth, the reds seem illuminated, giving the curving forms an almost living energy as they travel across the canvas.
The forms feel organic rather than planned or geometric. They expand, narrow, bend and circle back upon themselves. One passage seems to lead somewhere only to change direction entirely. That unpredictability is the journey.
The Journey is not about reaching a destination. It is about moving through what cannot be known in advance—the turns, interruptions, changes of direction, and unexpected paths that become part of where we eventually arrive.
As a Random Vision Expression, The Journey embodies the Organistic style of Bereniche Aguiar—where organic forms emerge through color & chance.
